Room is a brilliant movie. It is very thrilling and dramatic. Being nominated for best picture but not winning the award. However, the actress Brie Larson won the Academy Award for Best Actress. This film is about a mom and her son trapped in a room but then escape through the son. Then it proceeds to tell the story of life after the kidnapping incident and them overcoming their past. It has a beautiful and happy ending. Nothing could truly be changed to make this movie better it is absolutely amazing. Every shot was fully thought out and planned to fully add to the emotional appeal in the movie. Overall, Room is emotionally draining and a roller coaster of events that all correspond perfectly together into this masterpiece of a film. I was surprised the young boy was not awarded best actor because he did an amazing job in this film. I strongly recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys movies!

This article   "Academy Nominates All White Actors for Second Year in Row"  highlights the fact that once again no African American actors, producers, directors, and more for the second year in a row. Even with the movies that came out this year that were quite loved this still did not provide enough to get them nominated. The author argues that this problem of no diversity within the Oscars finds a short solution but that always goes away. In that we should create an everlasting solution to stop the discrimination within the Oscars. The point the author points out within this is supported by the movie "Creed" written and directed by "the black Ryan Coogler" and starring an African American actor happened to only get an oscar nominee for a white person who helped in the movie creation. Another movie "Straight Out Of Compton" happened to only get two caucasians nominees despite all the African Americans in the movie and who created it. The

Deadpool is an amazing, graphic, and hilarious movie. This is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen with the constant jokes and action scenes that keep the storyline moving along at a fast yet respectable pace. This movie about Wade Wilson who is an ex mercenary gets diagnosed with cancer. His girl Vanessa Carlyle, however, won't just let Wade sit back and let it kill him slowly. Wade then goes to a bar and an odd man talks to him and says he can cure his cancer and make him better than before, what Wade does not know is that this will make him a horrifyingly ugly looking man. After seeing himself he is too afraid to return to Vanessa so he goes and becomes Deadpool; he is not a super hero! Deadpool's goal is to go after Ajax the man who made him look like this and try and get it fixed. He finally catches up to him for an epic battle and you will have to watch the movie to see the end.
