10 Shot Sequence

In this assignment we used 10 shots to make a video about someone going to their next class. We had to get them walking all the way to their next class within the 10 shots. We had to use the 6 shots of CU hands which shows their hands doing something in detail, Cu face which I used to show Victorias emotions when she got to class. Medium shot which you just use to show people from about the waist up, wide I used in this video to she where she was walking from, XW which is used to show the  background, and POV which shows what they are seeing from where they are. I learned how to use a lot of different things in final cut and I learned how it is really important to have white balance because it helps a lot to make it look better.

Final This was the final project of my animation e-communications class. In this project we made an animation encompassing the skills we've learned in this semester. The scope of the project was to make a masterpiece of what we learned to showcase our skills and how we can work as a team. Process The amount of idea making and preplanning was a long time. In this time I drew the story board and helped make ideas that my partners Brooke and Jacquelynn provided into making too. Put behind me in the shot Soccer ball in the video made in Maya  When we finished filming we went into Maya and created the 3D soccer ball that is in the video. Once we added in the soccer ball to the video in Adobe After Effects, we added in the explosion effect when the ball hits the wall. Maya Tools

Image
We made this Poly Thing using the Booleans difference tool, by putting cylinders through a sphere and differencing them out. This project though was mainly focused on using lighting and trying out the different lights. There is 6 different lights ambient lights, directional lights, point lights, spot lights, area lights and volume lights. In this project I just used the directional and area light in this project and turned the shadows on only for the directional light.  This is a hammer that was created in Maya using the cut face, extrude, and bevel tools. The cut face tool was used to make the back of the hammer and pull out the separate sides. Next we used the extrude tool to pull out and push in the top parts of the hammer head and the front and back of the hammer head. After that I just added colors and a floor. Also I made a nail from a cylinder and then pulled down the bottom center vertex to make the point and extruded the top. The revolving ice cream ...
