Plausible Impossible

Image
This is plausible because a person can eat soup. When a person eats soup they normally eat it slow but in this case he eats it in less than 2 seconds. This is impossible because first you do not eat soup in two mins. Second you can not splash it in your mouth all in two seconds. This is plausible because you can probably suck a pee up a straw but when you realize when he is getting a line of pees then that does not make sense. This is impossible because first you cannot direct the direction of a line of pees. Second you cannot continuously suck up the pees with you a straw and move them where ever you want. This is plausible because you can be walking with someone on a cart. You can also have the person jump off but the person cannot spin around into the window. This is impossible because you cannot swing around into a window. You can also not break a window by hitting it without great force. This plausible because you can run into a mailbox. You can also g

Multiplane project

This project was a layers of different background images put in order. We had to make a background setting look 3D by making the layers move at different speeds. I learned how to get your effects you put on an image in photoshop into after effects. You do it by rasterizing the layer which combines the image with its effect making it into a combined image and effect so it goes into after effects with the effect on it. Another thing I learned was how to make something look like it is 3D even though it was 2D. You do this by making the layers move at different speeds and make the ones closet bigger than the ones in the back. One more thing I learned is that you should make the layers farther in the back not as detailed and colorful as the ones in front. You do this in order to make it look more 3D and realistic.

Chase Scene

This project was a chase scene that was a sequence of around 30 shots. The shots used were medium, wide, close up, extreme close up, point of view, and over the shoulder. What it took to make this video was before we filmed we made a storyboard, next we took 2 hours to film the shots we had on our storyboard, finally I edited the video in Final Cut Pro. I learned how to color correct in final cut pro which helped make my shots look better. No new camera shots or angles were used in the video so I didn't learn anything in the camera category. If I could go back now and change something I would make some more of the shots have a better white balance in the hallways because they were kind of yellowish. All of the other shots and angles I would keep the same because they all looked really well in the finish. In the next project I will white balance more often to make the shots look better. In conclusion my video was very good in my opinion, just a few visual things due to the whi

Character Walk

Image
My character is an octopus ghost man. I made my character have the texture design because it looks really good and different, my thought behind my character was just that in the animation i could make his arms and legs wiggle while he walks. I did not run into any problems while making this animation. I made the key frames of one leg going in a looped triangle motion, then copied it and made the other leg. I took the other legs key frames and made it start rotating a few frames after so it looked like a walking cycle. After that I used the puppet pin tool to move the arms in funny awkward ways and just copied and pasted those key frames again to repeat the cycle.  I learned how to move a duplicate leg with the same ket frames into a different spot. I also learned how to time the keyframes to make it look like a walking cycle. One issue I had was that the end of the legs cycle was going too fast, so I just spaced it out and made it normal. I would make the legs wiggle

Inch Worm

Inch Worm     This project was an animation of a worm crawling from one side of the screen to the other side. It was not super hard to figure out but some of the things to do were hard to remember because there were so many. We had to use the puppet tool in order to make the worms body move up and down. Then we would copy and paste those movements to make it move for a certain amount of time.

10 Shot Sequence

In this assignment we used 10 shots to make a video about someone going to their next class. We had to get them walking all the way to their next class within the 10 shots. We had to use the 6 shots of CU hands which shows their hands doing something in detail, Cu face which I used to show Victorias emotions when she got to class. Medium shot which you just use to show people from about the waist up, wide I used in this video to she where she was walking from, XW which is used to show the  background, and POV which shows what they are seeing from where they are. I learned how to use a lot of different things in final cut and I learned how it is really important to have white balance because it helps a lot to make it look better.
