Hat Trick

The Project Criteria needed In this short film that Markus and I created we were suppose to make a 1 minute and 30 seconds to 3 minute short film that met some small criteria (too the right). It was used as our class final in order to test all of the skills I have acquired through out this entire year in the application Final Cut Pro and in the field of working along side a partner and planning out what happens in and off the set of a film. Process:  The process of creating this idea was very long; yet fun. First we had to build an idea and plot for a story. Before my partner and I even started making the film Hat Trick we had a totally different idea for a film so we had a lot less time to produce a master piece.  Script made with Celtx Once we had made this idea we had to make story boards (look at my animation  post to see what one looks like!). After that we had to write a script to match the shots we had drawn.  Final cut pro editing screen After creat

Final This was the final project of my animation e-communications class. In this project we made an animation encompassing the skills we've learned in this semester. The scope of the project was to make a masterpiece of what we learned to showcase our skills and how we can work as a team. Process The amount of idea making and preplanning was a long time. In this time I drew the story board and helped make ideas that my partners Brooke and Jacquelynn provided into making too. After that we went and filmed in the hallway we went into the green screen room and filmed to make the stadium scene. Put behind me in the shot Soccer ball in the video made in Maya  When we finished filming we went into Maya and created the 3D soccer ball that is in the video. Once we added in the soccer ball to the video in Adobe After Effects, we added in the explosion effect when the ball hits the wall.
