Graph of mass shootings, not including years 2013-2015 This article review is parallel to the recent California mass shooting. This article talks about how mass shootings are becoming more common; however, gun violence has been declining. Hitting on all of the shootings within the last two decades scientists still cannot fully determine what leads to these mass shootings. There is a graph to the left which I provided to show the rise in mass shootings, not including years 2013-2015. The author of this article argues that they have increased over the years but not by a huge amount. The author also talks about how guns make the attacks far more fatal than without. Presenting information over an attack in China in which a man only had a knife and no one was killed in the elementary schools. Could overruling the constitution in the rights to bare arms possibly decrease mass shootings or just cause more problems? In my opinion I believe it would just infuriate more citizens possibly...

This project was for the MLK Video contest. It was a video representing how love illuminates life. First I came up with a simple story line that could be executed with varieties of shots to present them well. Once I finished filming I chose a song that went well with the story and fit the tone. Editing the video was somewhat hard though, due to the elongated beats from the slow music it required longer shots to fill in the spaces. After editing though I thought it was quite good. Along the way of making this video I just figured out how to use shots in a longer period and still make them interesting. One thing I would do different though is probably make some of my shots a little longer to fully go with the beat. The rest I would keep the same because I felt that it was a pretty good and simple video. The Interview is a very hysterical movie. From the idea of Kim-Jong Un wanting to be on "Skylark Tonight" to the fact that Dave Skylark and Kim-Jong Un both love to sing along to Katy Perry. It is one of my favorite movies of all time! Despite the brilliance of the movie it was never released on the big screen. Due to threats from Sony Hackers about unleashing 9/11 like terror if it was released in theaters. Honestly I feel this pullback on the release of them from terrorist threats made more people want to view it. This overall made the film reap in 44 million dollars. Some people who do not like comedy may not like this movie though. It is very comical and sometimes not just from smartly created jokes but from stupid actions. Overall, the film puts in all forms of comedy to fully encompass the movie in hysterical acts to keep it interesting and funny all around. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves comedies! 3 Point Lighting  In order to successfully light an interview or scene most people will use the 3 point lighting method. This method involves a key light, fill light, and back light.  Here you can see an example of the key light placement. The key light is the main source of light and it is placed to one side of the camera so that one side is well lit while the other side has some shadow.  The fill light is next. This is used on the opposite side of the key light and will fill in the shadows created by the key light. This light is also usually softer and less bright than the key light. Here you can see an example of the fill lights placement. Finallly, you have the backlight . This light is placed behind the subject and its purpose is to provide definition and subtle highlights around the subject.  Here you can see the final product of 3 point lighting.

Afro Ninja This is my short film from sophomore year. It took a lot of time to make and edit. Afro Ninja was well made and I feel is one of my best works.With my further knowledge now from when I made it I can finally review with a better eye. B story store, casually funny The film is very well when it comes to being continuous all of the shots flow very well. The sound effects are very good and music goes perfectly with the selected shots. Story within the film is very good with a solid B story of getting Doritos and the A story of rescuing the hostage. At the beginning the montage is very funny and creative as well which brings a light and funny attitude to the short film. Jumping over something pointlessly for laughs What could have improved was the ending for sure. News Reporter Shot Live Murderer Vester Flanagon On August 26, 2015 at 6:45 AM news reporter Alison Parker and her camera man Adam Ward were both shot on live television by . This was a horrific incident. Was the shooting the only horrific part though? People reacted to go and watch the video everyone wanted to see the video. Which is wrong wanting to watch a video of someone being shot and killed. Did these people believe that the shooting was real or just a fake? From all of the things social media does to boost channel reviews people who wanted to watch probably felt it was just a fake video. 21 Jump Street I absolutely love this movie! It is and will always be one of my favorite comedy movies. This movie is overall a hilarious piece of art. The story is very funny and has many great points throughout it. The irony in the story is also a valuable part in it in story. In which the main characters Schmidt and Jenko were once enemies then became friends then enemies and once again back to friends. It also presents a solid mystery in trying to find the drug lord, in which I truly didn't see being conveyed through the story for who it actually was. I never saw the old show  (left) that it was based off of. Inferring the old show was as funny and interesting as this it must have been a hit!  This movie already has a sequel  22 Jump Street  which I thought was as equally amazing!   I hope that a third movie could be created because both of these movies were brilliantly comedic and had a fantastic story to build wi...
